I love to have a waffle from time to time to mix up my breakfast as I tend to eat the same thing over and over.
Here’s a very figure friendly waffle with a good amount of protein.
Lemon Blueberry Waffle
1/4 organic or gluten free oat flour (can grind your own oats for this)
1/8 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 mashed banana
1 tsp honey (optional)
1/4 tsp chia seeds
1/4 tsp poppyseeds
3 drops lemon essential oil
Whisk ingredients and pour into a belgian waffle maker. Makes one waffle at 245 calories and 10 grams of protein
Drizzle with coconut nectar, honey or maple syrup
If it is too runny, you can add some more oat flour.
